How It Works

We're giving you more flexibility than ever before, with interest-free credit for up to 10 months and an APR of just 9.9% for terms between 12 and 24 months. Our monthly payment plans are designed with you in mind so our courses can simply fit into your monthly budget.

To access our short-term interest-free financial payment plans, purchases (courses and/or exams) must be valued at £1100 or less after the initial payment. The finance provider: Omni Capital Retail Finance Limited, will enable you to spread your payments over 6 or 10 months.

To access our longer-term financial payment plans, purchases (courses and/or exams) must be valued at £1100 or more after the initial payment. The finance provider: Omni Capital Retail Finance Limited, will enable you to spread your payments over 12, 18 or 24 months.

We’ve partnered with Omni Capital Retail Finance Limited to make applying for finance straightforward. Omni Capital Retail Finance Limited is a lender that will provide you with full details of their financial products.

1. Choose your Oxbridge courses

Add any Oxbridge courses or exams to your checkout basket.
Monthly finance is only available on a minimum basket value of £250 after the initial payment.

2. Choose your Payment Plan

On the Checkout page, select pay monthly as your preferred payment method. Choose from payment plan options between 6 - 24 months.

3. Apply for Finance with Omni Capital Retail Finance Limited

You'll be automatically redirected to Omni Capital Retail Finance Limited’s website to complete your finance application online. If successful, your agreement begins. Once your initial payment is received, your order is complete!

4. Course Delivery

Your welcome email will be sent within 48 hours of your completed order. It will contain information, links and passwords to access your chosen online course(s). For paper-based courses, we aim to have these delivered to you within 5 working days. Once you have received access to your chosen course, repayment charges begin.

Qualifying For Credit

You’ll only be considered for finance via Omni Capital Retail Finance Limited if meet the following requirements:

  • Are at least 18 years old
  • You have a gross annual income each year of more than £5,000
  • Are a permanent UK resident and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years.
  • Have a UK bank account capable of accepting Direct Debits
  • You are not currently bankrupt, subject to an Individual Voluntary Agreement (IVA), or have any County Court Judgments (CCJs)
  • Provide an email address so your documentation can be emailed to you.

Please note: Our finance payment plans provided by Omni Capital Retail Finance Limited are not secured against an asset, such as your home, so it’s less likely your home will be repossessed if you fail to pay.

However, if you fail to keep up with your repayments there will be other consequences. The repercussions include (but are not limited to) receiving a bad credit score, making it difficult for you to borrow money or get credit. This could affect other financed items such as mobile phone contracts, and you may be taken to court to retrieve the money.

There may also be charges that apply for recovery of missed/late payments or collection of the outstanding loan amount in the event of default.

Oxbridge and/or any third party appointed by Oxbridge reserve the right to reclaim any unpaid monies in relation to the costs of products or services purchased from Oxbridge (either directly or indirectly).  Oxbridge may also charge fees for missed/late payments and for setting up replacement direct debits. These fees may be introduced/amended from time to time.

I don’t meet these eligibility requirements, what can I do?

If you are an International student or have not been resident in the UK for the last 3 years.

We have you covered. We have a monthly payment option just for you! It’s quick and very easy to arrange. When you enter your address at our checkout this option will become available to you if you wish to spread the payments for your course. Alternatively, you can call our highly experienced course advisers on (+44121 630 3000) and they will be happy to support you through your enrolment. Use of your personal data

To process your application, you will be asked to provide information about your personal, employment and financial situation. Omni Capital Retail Finance Limited (the lender) – will use your data so to determine your finance offer. Omni Capital Retail Finance Limited will perform a search with one or more Credit Reference Agencies to conduct checks for creditworthiness and any affordability assessments to help them make their decision.

Finance Decision

Omni Capital Retail Finance Limited will let you know the outcome in just a few seconds. Your application will be assessed based on eligibility, credit history and affordability.

Please note when applying for finance, both a soft and hard credit check is taken. Once all security checks have been completed and your initial payment has been paid, the hard credit check is made. This is recorded on your credit file.

You just need to digitally sign your credit agreement, pay your initial payment, and wait for your enrolment confirmation.

Your application may be referred to a lender for manual assessment in a few cases. You’ll be notified by email of the credit decision within 24 hours.

If you’re not approved for finance, the lender will be able to give you more information on why you weren’t approved. If this is the case, please do call us on (+44)121 630 3000 to speak with one of our experienced course advisers and we’ll be happy to explore alternative options.

Repaying the loan

Your first direct debit payment will be taken approximately 15 to 30 days after you receive your purchase.

This will show on your statement as a payment to your lender. You have the right to repay all or part of the loan early at any time.

Cancellation

There is a 14-day cooling-off period where you can withdraw from the credit agreement after receipt of your course.

If you wish to do this, please contact Oxbridge Ltd. We can cancel the application on your behalf. There is no need to contact Omni Capital Retail Finance Limited direct.

A payment plan does not affect our standard refund policy.

Just contact us and we'll cancel your application. The lender will refund your Initial payment and let you know of any outstanding balance if applicable.

Oxbridge Complaints Procedure

Oxbridge always aims to provide consumers with the highest of standards while using our service. However, if anything is incorrect or if for any reason we fail to meet our high standards, please let us know so that we can remedy the situation.

  • To receive your complaint or query and understand your concerns.
  • To resolve your complaint as soon as possible.
  • To make sure you are completely satisfied with how we have handled your complaint.

If Oxbridge Ltd cannot resolve your complaint right away, we will:

  • Send you a written acknowledgement within five working days of receiving your complaint.
  • Send you a written update after two weeks.
  • Send you a full written update of the process after four weeks.

If Oxbridge Ltd hasn’t been able to resolve the matter after eight weeks, we’ll be in touch with either a final response letter detailing our findings or a letter detailing why we are not in a position to provide a final response.
