An Access to HE Diploma is a Level 3 qualification and is the equivalent of three A-level passes. The Diploma is made up of modules, each worth a certain number of credits. In order to achieve the Diploma, you must complete a minimum of 120 credits. The number and type of modules you take will depend on your chosen subject area.

If you're thinking of applying to university but don't have the traditional qualifications required, an Access to HE Diploma could be the perfect solution. It's also a great way to brush up on your skills and knowledge if it's been a while since you've been in education.

Often known as the "Access Diploma" it is a benchmark qualification that can also prepare IELTS, EFL or ESOL students for study at university.
