How do I choose a course?

Well, that all depends on what you’re trying to achieve. We offer over 250 courses in a range of subject areas, so there’s a lot for you to explore! We assume you’ve already landed here with an interest in a certain topic and a goal in mind - maybe you want to further your career, or you’d like to start a completely different path. Perhaps you just want to find a new hobby or sense of purpose through learning. Whatever your goal, we offer accredited and recognised qualifications to get you there.

Can you help me decide?

We can! Maybe you’re not sure which level to start at, or you don’t understand what type of qualification you need for a certain job role. Or, perhaps you want to start your own business and need to know what steps to take to get there. Our amazing learning advisers are here to provide all the information you need and help you with your all-important decision. They’ll listen to your goals, ask you some questions about your academic background and help you find a course that suits to you.

Get in touch by phone, speak to us on live chat or submit an enquiry - we'll get back to you as quickly as possible!

Can I study online?

All of our students get access to our award-winning online portal, MyOxbridge, and eligible courses will have the option to receive a full-colour printed copy of their course materials in the post. If you’d prefer to study in a paper-based format, all the course materials will be sent to you via DPD and arrive within approximately 14 days. Feel free to make notes and scribble all over them - they're yours to keep!

It's important to note that A-level and GCSE courses can only be studied online, however you can download and print the course materials at home if you wish. Our online courses are designed to provide a dynamic and engaging experience, from videos to e-books and online quizzes.

How do I enrol?

We want to make the enrolment process as easy as possible. Simply add your chosen course to the basket, complete our quick and easy online checkout process, and we'll do the rest. If you'd rather enrol over the phone, that's fine too! Call the college on 0121 630 3000 and one of our experienced learning advisers can help you.

How can  I pay for my course?

We offer a range of flexible payment options, including:

  • Credit / Debit Card
  • PayPal
  • Pay Monthly - interest-free options available. T&Cs apply.

Our pay monthly option makes your course more affordable by allowing you to spread the cost over 6 or 10 months - completely interest-free. Longer payment terms are also available - speak to a learning adviser to discuss your options.

What happens next?

You’ve taken a big step towards achieving your goals, now it’s our turn to get the ball rolling. Upon enrolment, you will receive a welcome email from your personal tutor, details on how to contact them throughout your course and login details to our MyOxbridge platform. Please allow 24-48 hours for these to arrive in your email inbox.

When you're ready, log in and get comfortable with the learning portal and your course reading material. Alongside this will be your study guide; please read through this carefully as it provides all you need to know about how distance learning works with Oxbridge.

Do I have to start studying right away?

You have around 12-18 months to complete your course depending on which course you chose, so there’s no pressure to complete all your assignments at once. Many students choose to get started right away so they can fast-track their course and get qualified quicker. This is excellent for students who have personal deadlines in mind for entry into university or for a job opportunity.

This is why distance learning is so popular - it works around your current commitments and helps you achieve your goals in a convenient timescale for you. Study any time, any place, on any device.
