Progression Routes

Completing the Private Investigation Level 3 course could be a useful step on your path to opportunities in private investigation, security, fraud prevention or background screening, where an understanding of investigative methods and legal responsibilities can be valuable. The knowledge gained about surveillance, evidence collection, interviewing, background checks and due diligence may provide a foundation for further training or complement existing experience in law enforcement, security or related fields. With additional practical experience and an understanding of the relevant legal requirements, you could continue working towards a role in private investigation or explore the possibility of offering investigative services independently. This course provides an endorsed certification rather than a regulated qualification, so further training, experience and any applicable industry requirements may need to be considered when pursuing your chosen career.
