1: Business Culture and Responsibilities

Discover how to support sustainability in a business environment, understanding why businesses work in a sustainable way and how technology can be used to help this. You’ll gain knowledge of diversity in the workplace, including the legal and organisational guidelines that exist to govern diversity in the workplace. Additionally, you’ll explore how to maintain security and confidentiality in the workplace.

2: Deliver Customer Service in a Business Environment

Develop a variety of effective customer service skills, such as exceeding customer expectations by going the extra mile, delivering an efficient service to a wide range of customers, as well as monitoring and reviewing customer service.

3: Produce Documents in a Business Environment

Gain knowledge of different documents and formats that can be used to present information. You’ll also learn to research content for and produce a range of documents which meet varying requirements.

4: Solve Problems in a Business Environment

Learn how to identify solutions to business problems, develop problem-solving plans, and then solve these problems. You’ll also evaluate the success of such a plan to ensure the method chosen is the most productive option.

5: Communicate in a Business Environment

Master the importance of written and verbal communication skills. You’ll evaluate communication within a business environment, summarising positive and negative points of a communication and developing a plan to improve your communication skills.
