It’s actually thought to be a part of our genetic make-up, according to studies.

Whether you’re a night owl or an early bird can say a lot about your personality type. Now you know which one you are, let’s find out a bit more about what your results mean.

Night Owl Personality

Overall, if you’re a night owl, then you’re more likely to be a bit of a risk taker. You may also have a personality that’s prone to addictive behaviour. A tendency to procrastinate is also more associated with night owls than early birds.

It’s not all doom and gloom though. Some studies have suggested that night owls are more intelligent than early birds, as well as possessing more creativity. Night owls can also maintain focus on tasks for longer than early birds.

Early Bird Personality

Early birds are less likely to get sudden bursts of energy, as they begin the day at their maximum capacity, so their energy levels decline throughout the day.

You’re also less likely to have insomnia than your late-night counterpart.  As an early bird, you’re more likely to have a healthy BMI overall and more inclined to get regular exercise than night owls.
