More about our A-level courses

What are A-levels?

A-levels, or Advanced Level qualifications, are subject-based qualifications typically studied over two years in the UK after GCSEs. They are highly regarded academic credentials often required for university entry. Students usually choose three or four A-level subjects that align with their interests or intended career path. A-levels offer in-depth knowledge and critical thinking skills, preparing learners for higher education, apprenticeships, or employment.

Achieving strong A-level results can lead to university admission, including competitive courses such as medicine, law, or engineering. Alternatively, they open pathways to higher-level apprenticeships and vocational training. Employers and institutions recognise A-levels as indicators of academic ability and dedication. These qualifications can also lead to global opportunities, as they are widely respected by international universities, enhancing a student’s prospects both in the UK and abroad.

Each of our A-level courses can be completed online. This allows you the flexibility to study at your own pace, from anywhere you feel comfortable.
