Dementia is often something that is associated with old age, but how much do we actually understand it? This unit will open your eyes to what it is, what causes it, what it may feel like, and the impact it has on the sufferer and their family and friends, also improving your understanding of the resources and support available to someone who suffers. Additionally, allow you to better understand the factors that may adversely affect a person with dementia.
