Examinations and Assessments
Assignments
A portfolio of substantiating evidence showcasing applied talents and acquired knowledge. This includes written tasks and documents, accounts that reflect on experiences and learning, discussions among experts in a specific field, statements given by others who have observed an event, research, and the completion of case studies.
Placement
You will need to complete a paid or voluntary placement whilst studying this course. Most learners are already in an Adult care setting when undertaking a course such as this one. You will need to demonstrate at least 200 hours of hands-on experience in a position that involves leading or managing others.
Entry Requirements
Due to the nature of this course, the minimum starting age is 19. It is also recommended that you hold a Level 3 Adult Care qualification or above in a related area. You need to be working as a deputy manager or manager in an appropriate setting or have the opportunity to carry out the responsibilities associated with these roles.
