Manicure & Pedicure Level 2

Beautiful nails have the power to make someone feel amazing. When treated using the right techniques, nails shave years off a woman’s hands and feet. And who doesn’t want that? If you love to design nails or want to work in a salon, we can teach you the right way to trim, shape and polish nails from home. Designed with nail technicians in mind, our Manicure and Pedicure course is a step in the right direction.

What is Involved in a Manicure and Pedicure Course with Oxbridge?

Aimed at beginners with an interest in nail beauty, care, and design. We will train you in the technical aspects of how to do Manicure and Pedicure step by step. The course covers nail care of the hands and feet, including filing, shaping, and painting. You’ll even look at the benefits of specialised treatments, such as wax, hot oil and hand masks. Of course, you’ll also examine the relevant tools and equipment.

Given that health & safety, client care, and professionality are vital to becoming a successful technician, you’ll learn the importance of data protection, conduct, appearance, hygiene and professional ethics. As treatments promote healthy nail growth, improve circulation, and help with muscle and joint pain, we’ll explore the anatomy & physiology of the hands and feet, such as the skin, bones, blood & muscles.

By the end of the course, you’ll know key methods to transforming nails into works of art. In addition, you’ll have the skills and confidence to work in a salon, nail bar or even go solo as mobile nail technician.

Manicure and Pedicure Technician Career Overview

The demand for nail specialists is rising. Women, on average, are spending £450 a year to look and feel amazing, and more men are opting in, too. With our Manicure and Pedicure certificate in your pocket, you can start providing nail services to clients, but it also opens doors to move into further education.

Nail technicians can expect to earn up to £25,000, depending on practical training and experience. We recommend, while you’re studying with Oxbridge, to get hands-on experience and build a portfolio of quality nail work. This should range from standard grooming treatments to more specialised paint jobs.

Only a phone call away if I needed it
Claudia

I completed this course after completing Oxbridge’s Reflexology course. I was so impressed I added to my skills by completing the Manicure and Pedicure course.  The tutors were really good at easing me into studying again and were reassuringly only a phone call away if I needed.

The monthly payments were great for me, as Oxbridge are not the cheapest, but I know why; their service is outstanding.   I was matched to the right provider both academically and financially.
