Human Anatomy Level 2

This Level 2 course has been designed for people who wish to gain an understanding of Human Anatomy and provides an introduction to the structures, systems and functioning of the human body.

A distance learning course is an ideal way to gain a Level 2 in Human Anatomy – it is a flexible and convenient course.

Human Anatomy and Physiology is the study of human beings — the structure of our bodies, the way they work and the way in which we are related to other living things.  The more we know about our bodies, and how they work and sometimes do not, the better equipped we are to look after ourselves and maintain our health. With 206 bones and more than 600 muscles in the human body, along with an intricate network of blood vessels, nerves and other integrated systems, the human body is a complex organism.

Many of our student who studies this course go on to be or are already training in Complementary Health Therapy. Whether you are studying to be a reflexologist, a massage therapist, or a yoga instructor, this course will provide a sound understanding of the human body and how it functions.

On this course you will:

  • Increase your understanding of the physical structure of the human body
  • Be enabled to maintain your health better through an improved knowledge of the way your body functions
  • Describe the major structures, systems and organs of the human anatomy
  • Describe the function of the body’s systems and how they operate
  • Examine the interrelationship between the body’s systems

I am enjoying the course so far, some modues are harder than others but as there is no set timescales I can work at my own pace and around my current work. ”
