What jobs are there in sport?

If you thought the only job available to those with a sports and fitness-related qualification was as a personal trainer, you’re in for a surprise. While a career in gym instruction is varied and exciting, there are other avenues you can explore too.

If you dream of working with footballers or athletes, you could study sports psychology and learn not only what makes them tick but how to leverage their mentality to improve their physical performance.

Other pathways open to those with a qualification in sport include Sports therapists, choreographers, Health promotion specialists, Nutritionists, Fitness centre managers and Sports development officers.  However, some of these will require further study.

If time restraints are preventing you from leaping into a new career, home learning may be the key. By opting for an online course, particularly one with us, you’ll experience the same quality of education as traditional schools but from the comfort of your own home, at your own pace.

That means you won’t be held back by other students who don’t pick things up as quickly as you, and if you need more time to study a specific module, then that’s something you have complete control over.
