We are seeking a diligent, proactive developer to join our team to work on our website and online learning platform.
This is a great opportunity for an early-career developer to join a growing, award-winning college and contribute to new developments and innovative projects.
With some commercial experience under your belt you will be working on our website as well as new and existing and new projects alongside the senior developer, designer and marketing team.
The main areas of responsibility as part of your role will include:
We see the role as possibly leaning towards backend technologies (PHP), but there would be a mix of skills required across front end and back end technologies.
The college is a leader and fast growing within the distance learning sector. We have an excellent reputation with our students and have received multiple industry awards for excellence. We foresee considerable growth for the business in 2022 and this is a great opportunity to join us at a pivotal time for the college.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to grow their skillset and put their own mark on their work, in a collaborative and supportive environment.
This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking and growing company where employees are recognised for their effort and skills, and deliver an outstanding distance learning experience to the thousands of students studying with us.
If you do not meet all requirements, but believe you might still be suited to this role then please get in touch. The college seeks to employ people that fit the culture and ethos of the business above all else (we really are a lovely bunch of people to work with, even if we do say so ourselves!), and missing a skill might not necessarily exclude you from applying.
This role is office based. We offer flexible hours (to help you avoid the worst of the commute!).
The company is an equal opportunities employer. Any applicant must be able to work in the UK.
Candidates are strongly encouraged to supply details of any work they have done previously or content that might be relevant with their application: (e.g. personal website, portfolio, GitHub profile, CodePen profile etc).
